How to Apply

Step 1 — Submit Application

Complete the online registration form for your child's grade level. Our admissions team reviews applications throughout the year and will contact you within 2 business days.

Step 2 — Academic Assessment

Students applying to Grades 1 and above will complete a short placement assessment in English, Arabic, and Mathematics. This helps us understand your child's current level.

Step 3 — Family Interview

We invite parents and the student for a brief, informal meeting with our admissions team. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about UCA and for us to understand your child's needs.

Step 4 — Receive Acceptance

Successful applicants receive an official acceptance letter. Complete enrollment by submitting required documents and paying the registration fee to secure your child's place.

Admission Requirements

Required Documents for All Applicants

  • Completed UCA application form (online or paper)
  • Copy of student's Civil ID or valid passport
  • Copy of parent or legal guardian's Civil ID or passport
  • Official school transcripts from the previous two academic years
  • Up-to-date vaccination records (Kuwait Ministry of Health)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Previous school leaving certificate (for students transferring from another school)

Language of Instruction

UCA is an English-medium school. All core subjects are taught in English. We offer English Language Support (ELS) classes for students who need additional language assistance at no extra charge during the first year.

What grade levels does UCA offer?

UCA offers a complete K-12 education: KG1, KG2, Elementary (Grades 1–5), Middle School (Grades 6–8), and High School (Grades 9–12), including the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12.

Is UCA an English or Arabic school?

UCA is primarily an English-medium school. All core academic subjects are taught in English. Arabic language, Arabic Social Studies, and Islamic Education are taught in Arabic as required by the Kuwait Ministry of Education.

Does UCA offer the IB Program?

Yes. UCA is an authorized IB World School. We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to students in Grades 11 and 12 who meet the entry requirements.

What are the school hours?

School hours are from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday. After-school activities and clubs run from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Do you provide transportation?

Yes, UCA offers school bus services covering a wide range of areas across Kuwait. Bus routes and fees vary by area. Please contact our admissions office for the latest route information.

Can students from any nationality apply?

Absolutely. UCA proudly serves students from over 40 nationalities. We are an inclusive school and welcome families from all cultural backgrounds.

Is there an entrance exam?

Students applying to Grade 1 and above complete a placement assessment in English, Arabic, and Math. This is not a pass/fail exam — it helps us place your child in the right class.
